Love On Film Baja is bringing the gorgeous grain, nostalgic colors and charm back to wedding photography.
Love On Film Baja is captured entirely on 35mm film, no filters, no simulations, just real film. I shoot with a carefully chosen mix of film stocks to create a dreamy, nostalgic color palette and ensure your images are timeless, romantic, and properly exposed.
Because film is a living, breathing medium (and can sometimes be a little unpredictable), every package includes a second photographer who captures key moments on both digital and film. That way, you’ll have a beautiful collection of digital images alongside your authentic film photos, giving you the best of both worlds and peace of mind.
Film is deeply personal to me. When my husband and I eloped, our day photographed on film using my grandfather’s old camera. Looking back on how special those photos are for me has shaped the way I approach every wedding I photograph today. I believe film has a soul, and it tells love stories in a way no other medium can.
After your wedding, I send your rolls of film to my trusted lab in Mexico City. Scanning usually takes around 10 days. Once I receive the scans, I make subtle tweaks where needed to send you a sneak peek and then deliver your final gallery, ready for you to download, print, and relive forever.

At this time, I don’t include negatives or printed photos by default, as shipping from Mexico to the U.S. can be costly and complicated. But if you'd love to have them, I'm happy to explore the best way to make that happen.

Hi, my name is Zoey Marchiney
My story with film starts back when I was in high school. My grandpa gave me an old camera of his, the Canon AE-1. I used that and a polaroid camera I found at a second hand store in my home town to do a few art projects in high school. I leaned how to use a dark room at school and always dreamt of having one for myself.
The years passed and I wasn't able to make myself a dark room, but when I moved to Poland in 2019 I rediscovered my love for film photography when I found a shop that was full of all types of film, they developed + scanned there too.
I shot as many film photos as I could.
The rest is history!
